In October 2004, SCI FI introduced Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson - plumbers by day, Ghost Hunters by night! Jason and Grant head up TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society), a close-knit organization of volunteer paranormal researchers - ordinary people who investigate and attempt to debunk claims of otherworldly activity. In their investigations all over the U.S. and Europe, these self-proclaimed skeptics have managed to expose some of the most frighteningly compelling evidence of paranormal phenomenon ever seen on television! Throughout its run, Ghost Hunters has featured speaking entities, mysteriously moving furniture, ghostly visages and a healthy dose of squabbling within the investigating team. Being scared has never been so much fun!

Ghost Hunters will premiere its fourth season in March as one of cable's hottest shows. Enjoying record-high ratings throughout its run, the series celebrated its best season ever in Fall 2007, culminating in the record-breaking special on Halloween, Ghost Hunters Live. With a 2.1 Household rating and over 2.8 million viewers from 9-11pm, Ghost Hunters Live was the most-watched cable program for Adults 25-54, ranked second for Adults 18-49 and drove SCI FI to its best Wednesday prime performance in the 18-49 demographic since 2002 (Taken).

Ghost Hunters is also very successful with young female viewers - on average, the Fall 2007 season outperformed new episodes of CW's Gossip Girl in over the same 6-week period in Adults 25-54, and the recent Halloween special attracted the Channel's second-best night ever with Women 18-49.
