When a convicted murderer becomes eligible for parole, he finds himself trapped between an attractive young psychiatric counselor bent on keeping him behind bars, and the ruthless thug he sent to death row with his testimony. In order to boost his sagging campaign for public office, the warden of Springwood Prison, determined to solve a longstanding crime, uses a highly-experimental, and very dangerous, truth serum on a prisoner - leading to disaster for his campaign.
