Brian Balchack

Birth Date: April 18th, 1977 - Redlands, CA

Born in 1977 exactly one month before the release of Star Wars, Brian Balchack was the first baby to ever see that iconic film, and it was the first film he ever saw, which left an indelible impression on the music maverick and future Internet maven. Acquiring a taste for the cinematic arts at a young age, the punk rock tyke also found himself being called to the guitar. Mastering the instrument by the time he reached the fourth grade, Brian was soon auditioning singers for his own band. After many failed attempts at forming the greatest pop rock group ever known, Balchack dabbled in Ska and the burgeoning So-Cal Emo scene. He soon found himself immersed in the Orange County hardcore scene, and began pumping out 10 vinyls that proved to be a hit with the kids. By the early 2000s, Brian Balchack got mixed up with the socially and politically aware Hardcore punk outfit Ignite, which allowed the young musician to Ignite stages across the globe. At the same time, he set out to create the greatest movie website known to man. What started out as Lightsout soon became Movieweb, then eventually TVweb, a vital resource that stands as one of the best cinematic outlets on the Internet today. Brian continues to preform with Ignite as well, and can often be found eating Vegamite sandwiches at his favorite health food restaurant in Huntington Beach. Don't be afraid to say hi if you see him in the grociery store...Oh, wait...You'll never see him in a grociery store store, because he is a recluse and a clean freak just like Howard Hughes.
