Wes Craven Responds to 'Scream' TV Series Rumors

The prolific slasher film director took to Twitter yesterday to address rumors about the potential horror series.

Director Wes Craven provided a response to the speculation of a Scream TV series potentially coming to MTV. The news about the horror guru directing the pilot arrived last week. Today, he took to Twitter to address the question of his involvement.

No writers have been attached to the series. Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are leading the development.

Scream was released December 20th, 1996 and stars Drew Barrymore, Kevin Patrick Walls, David Booth, Carla Hatley, Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Lawrence Hecht, Courteney Cox. The film is directed by Wes Craven.
