Actor-producer Vince Vaughn is developing a reboot of the classic sitcom The Brady Bunch for CBS Television Studios. Mike Mariano (Raising Hope, My Name Is Earl) is writing the pilot script, based on an idea hatched by Vince Vaughn. The multi-camera comedy received a script order by the studio.

The original ABC series ran from 1969 to 1974, starring Robert Reed as thw widowed architect Mike Brady, and Florence Henderson as Carol. The two fall for each other and get married, sharing a home with Bobby's three sons, and Carol's three daughters. This new version will also feature a child that Bobby and Carol have together, along with their ex-spouses who are still a part of their lives.

Vince Vaughn and Mike Mariano will executive produce alongside Victoria Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, and Lloyd J. Schwartz, the son of original series creator Sherwood Schwartz.

Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley currently serve as executive producers on the new TBS comedy Sullivan & Son.
