Yesterday, a new piece of promo artwork debuted touting The Walking Dead's presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2012. Today we have another promo banner, showcasing Andrew Lincoln and new characters Michonne (Danai Gurira) and The Governor (David Morrissey). Oddly enough, though, there is also a glimpse of a helicopter, which may be a tease for some intriguing developments in Season 3. Take a look at the artwork, and read on for more details on the highly-anticipated season from showrunner Glen Mazzara.
The executive producer first spoke about the opening moments of Season 3, where it seems that all hope may be lost for our favorite survivors.
Glen Mazzara also spoke about the new addition of Danai Gurira as Michonne, and how the character is a tad bit different than how she was portrayed in Robert Kirkman's comic books.
The showrunner also talked about this season's other highly-anticipated new addition, The Governor, played by David Morrissey.
The Walking Dead Season 3 will debut in October on AMC. The Walking Dead cast members and executive producers will be on hand at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 with a panel and Q&A session Friday, July 13 at 1:25 PM in Hall H. Be sure to check back next week for all The Walking Dead scoops revealed at the Con.
