The CW Network series Nikita has promoted recurring star Devon Sawa to series regular for Season 3. Here's what executive producer Craig Silverstein had to say about the actor's character, Owen Elliot, being a regular fixture on the show.

"We are very happy about the return of Owen and looking forward to the excitement he will bring to an already exciting cast."

Owen Elliot was first introduced in Episode 1.05: The Guardian as a Division operative who becomes a fugitive after escaping a bank robbery. He went on to become a fan favorite, appearing in six more episodes throughout Season 1 and Season 2. Another recurring actor, Noah Bean, who plays CIA agent Ryan Fletcher, was also bumped up to series regular status after Season 2 wrapped.
