The Fox sitcom New Girl was one of the biggest new shows of the season last year, fitting right into the network's Tuesday night comedy lineup. The series is bringing in some heavy hitters to guest star in Season 2, with Carla Gugino, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Rob Reiner signing on.

Carla Gugino will be featured in a three-episode arc as Emma, the new boss of Max Greenfield's Schmidt. While she seems to be sweet and innocent at first glance, she actually has an insatiable sexual appetite. The plot thickens when Schmidt unknowingly signs a contract that binds him to Emma. Her first appearance will be the seventh episode of Season 2, slated to air in November.

Jamie Lee Curtis, and Rob Reiner will portray the divorced parents of Jess (Zooey Deschanel), Joan and Bob. They come to visit their daughter over Thanksgiving, when Jess concocts a "parent trap" scheme to get them back together. Rob Riggle will also guest star in the Thanksgiving episode, portraying Schmidt's cousin who also goes by Schmidt.

The Season 2 Premiere of New Girl debuts Tuesday, September 25 at 8 PM ET, with another episode following in the show's normal time slot at 9 PM ET.

New Girl episode 2.1, "Re-launch" stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Hannah Simone, Nelson Franklin, Cicero Salmon III, Ross Mackenzie.
