Battlestar Galactica creator Ronald D. Moore returns to the small screen with the first trailer for his upcoming Syfy series Helix. Since there are no cast members attached yet, this isn't actual footage from the 13-episode series, although it sets up the story in a visually-distinct way. The network hasn't announced a premiere date, but stay tuned for the latest on this series from executive producers Ronald D. Moore, Steven Maeda (Lost), and Lynda Obst (Contact).

Helix is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind's salvation or total annihilation.
