FX is planning on bringing their comic book adaption series Powers back to life. The studio originally shot the pilot, but elected not to move forward. FX president John Landgraf later asked creator Charles H. Eglee for a re-write, with plans to re-shoot the pilot with an all new cast.

Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's comics follow two police officers who investigate crimes committed by people with superhuman abilities. The original pilot starred Jason Patric as Detective Christian Walker and Lucy Punch as Detective Deena Pilgrim.
