On Sunday, fans packed the enormous Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con to get an early look at Sons of Anarchy, returning with the Season 5 premiere, "Sovereign" Tuesday, September 11. Panel attendees were treated to their first look at the upcoming Season 5 premiere with an explosive clip you can see below.
Series creator Kurt Sutter said he would be open to creating a prequel series, that explores how SAMCRO was first formed, which we first reported on back in March. Gemma (Katey Sagal) will also have a steamy sex scene with Jimmy Smits' Neron Padila, a new character who will be sticking around for the whole season this year, as he mentors Charlie Hunnam's Jax. Opie (Ryan Hurst) must also decide this season if he will sit at the table with Jax.
Sons of Anarchy episode 5.1, "Sovereign" stars B.J. Britt, Chris Browning, Mo McRae, Jimmy Smits, Ashley Tisdale, Bobby Waldron, Kurt Yaeger, Chuck Zito and is directed by Paris Barclay.
