Clark Duke to Become a Series Regular on The Office Season 9

The Office Season 9 wants Clark Duke

No details were given about the character, except that he will be a new Dunder Mifflin employee. It is possible that he may fill one of the gaps left by departing cast members Paul Lieberstein and Mindy Kaling. It was also recently reported that B.J. Novak will be back for the new season, but in a limited capacity, and not as a series regular.

Rainn Wilson may also be leaving the show for a spin-off entitled The Farm, where his character Dwight Schrute inherits his family's bed-and-breakfast inn and beet farm.

Clark Duke was recently seen on the small screen in a guest-starring spot on the Fox comedy New Girl. We reported last month that The Office will air its Season 9 premiere Thursday, September 20 at 9 PM ET on NBC.
