Series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed Jessica Lange's character will be running this 'institution' in the new season of FX's horror anthology.

American Horror location revealed

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy recently spoke on a panel promoting the show at the TV Academy in North Hollywood, and revealed more details on the Season 2 location. Here's what he had to say.

"[Season 2] is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica (Lange)."

Back in January, we reported that the show will be brought back as an anthology series featuring a new main cast, location, and story line. Season 1 cast members Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe are all returning for Season 2, which is expected to debut sometime this fall.
