We have a batch of new images from the upcoming ArrowVerse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths, and they come with some true gifts for hardcore DC fans. Specifically, we're getting our first look at Kevin Conroy as Batman for the first time in live-action. Conroy has been the voice of Batman for more than 25 years. Conroy is so beloved that in some circles referred to as "the one true Batman." So seeing him suited up as the Dark Knight in the flesh is no small thing. And that's just the tip of the iceberg with these new photos.

Starting with the Batman photo, we see Kevin Conroy, without the mask on, donning some high-tech Batman armor on his body. Sadly, the image only shows us the top bit of his torso, but given the fancy armor, it looks like Conroy will be playing an older, future version of Bruce Wayne on another Earth. Based on what we can see, it looks like he may be playing a version of the character from the Kingdom Come storyline. Understandably, The CW doesn't want to show its hand just yet, but this is the first official glimpse we've had of the actor in the role. If Conroy can bring that Batman: The Animated Series version of the character to life on screen, this could be truly special.

Moving on, we've also got several new photos of Brandon Routh as Superman. Roth originally played the part in Superman Returns, which underperformed and cut the actor's tenure as Clark Kent. Crisis on Infinite Earths is giving him another crack at it. We see several shots of Routh in costume, looking comics-accurate and ready for action. We also see a new shot of Rough as Clark Kent. Also on the Man of Steel front, we've got a new shot of Tyler Hoechlin's version of the character, who we've previously seen on Supergirl.

Also of importance to Clark Kent lovers is a new image of Tom Welling, who returns to reprise the role from his Smallville days. We see the actor seemingly living the quiet life, splitting wood and living in peace. Another shot sees a few key figures from the ArrowVerse paying him a visit on the farm, including Candice Patton's Iris West, Hoechlin's Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois Lane All we can do is speculate, but it seems they may end up having to pull him into the action. Another photo sees Iris and Lois taking a peek at a mysterious book.

This truly just scratches the surface, given what we know about the ambitious crossover event, which is based on the beloved DC Comics event of the same name. The five-part event spans between Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow. The action kicks off on Sunday, December 8 over on The CW.
